Our worship is based on the Anglican Common Worship pattern of services. This provides us with a framework in which to operate and gives us the flexibility to be open to God’s Holy Spirit.
Our music is provided by a small but dedicated team of musicians who use a varied mix of traditional and contemporary Christian worship material.
There are strong links with all schools in our part of the parish, with our Vicar continuing to take assemblies in the two junior schools.
We have a Brownie pack and a Guide company affiliated to the church.
Members of our Ministry Team are always available at the end of our 9:30 am services to pray with you over any concerns you may have.
We have all ages in our congregation and are currently seeking to encourage more families to join us.
Situated to the north-west of Norwich, Hellesdon is a popular suburb with a population in the region of 14,000 inhabitants.
The St. Paul’s area is mainly residential, but we do boast a large recreation ground at the Community Centre and the Royal Norwich Golf Course lies within the parish boundaries.
There are two junior schools and three infant schools in the St. Paul’s part of the parish,
as well as Hellesdon High School, which is a specialist Technology College.
Norwich International Airport is only a five minute drive away.
St. Paul’s is one of three Anglican Churches and was built in 1950 as Hellesdon grew after the war years. The building is actually an old Nissen hut.
